On Holy Thursday, we colored eggs with Grandma and Grandpa Brooks. Ellie’s eggs were mostly colored pink.
Here is Thomas. He tried to smoosh a bunch of eggs into the green and blue. All of these Easter activities have been sort of frustrating for him. He received a chocolate bunny in the mail from Uncle Jack, his Godfather. When we cut up the bunny to give him a chunk of chocolate, Thomas was devastated. Now, he will not eat any of his chocolate bunny. And, it is really yummy. He just doesn’t understand it all yet. But, I’m sure he’ll catch on.
By the way, Ellie loves her chocolate bunny, chocolate lamb and chocolate basket. She is trying to teach Thomas all of the ins and outs of Easter.
On Holy Friday, Ellie and I went to Holy Friday service. The STAB youth group acted out the Passion, then we had veneration of the cross and it was a very moving service. The service lasted over two hours and Ellie did really well. We did sit in the front row and that helped.
Saturday, we went to the Easter Vigil.

The Easter Vigil lasted about 2 1/2 hours, but it really passed quickly. I had bought a few things at the dollar store to keep Ellie and Thomas busy. There were over 10 adults baptized and that was very moving for all of us.
The Easter Bunny dropped off a bunch of junk couple of baskets on Sunday morning. In reality, it wasn’t too bad. They both received a movie, a music CD, a swim suit, a toothbrush, a chocolate lamb, a small magna doodle, and some playdough. Ellie received an outfit for her American Girl and Thomas received a train for his train set.
We had breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. Then, we relaxed for a bit before going to Grandma and Grandpa J’s for Easter dinner. 
We were tired Sunday night!
Andy had today (Monday) off today too and we have spent the day doing paper work and relaxing.
Mom and I received emails from Mike on Easter. He seems to be doing ok. Your prayers are appreciated.
We did no work on the bathrooms this weekend. (I really needed a weekend away from it.) So, some time this week or next weekend, we will be painting. I’ll post pictures after!
